Positioning Control of DC Servomotor-Based Antenna Using PID Tuned Compensator

Direct current (DC) servomotor-based parabolic antenna is automatically positioned using control technique to track satellite by maintaining the desired line of sight for quality transmission and reception electromagnetic wave signals in telecommunication broadcast applications. With several techniques proposed literature position control, there still a need improve tracking error robustness system presence disturbance. This paper has presented positioning DC proportional-integral-derivative (PID) tuned compensator (TC). The was designed estimation tool manager (CETM) MATLAB based on PID tuning design method robust response time with interactive (adjustable performance robustness) mode at bandwidth 40.3 rad/s. added loop servomotor–based system. Simulations were carried out environment four separate cases applying unit forced input examine various step responses.
